Young Life in Morgan County

Young Life doesn’t start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don’t happen overnight — they take​ time, patience, trust and consistency.

Morgan County Schools

We support the principals’ fund in each public school. Primary, elementary, middle, junior and senior high school support provides a fund to help lower income families with school supplies. Extracurricular activities may also benefit from Lions Club donations.

Student Scholarships

$20,000+

We provide scholarships for students who make a career choice in an eligible field. Career fields for military service, technical schools, or vocational programs may receive tuition support. Military service stipends are provided after graduation for the initial basic training.

Eye Exams and Eyeglasses

$20,000+

We provide free eye exams for children and adults and low cost eyeglasses by a volunteer eye care professional. We also assist in finding other resources for eye surgeries and hearing aids. Eligibility is based on income and need.

Since 1925, Lions International has been a champion in helping combat vision impairment and blindness. With this same conviction, Lions have also been a force in providing medical care and education to help prevent hearing loss.
